These unique and versatile bung entering agitators are designed to
efficiently mix a complete range of materials and suspend settled solids.
Our removable bung adapter conveniently screws into a standard
2" bung hole and accepts c-clamp. The c-clamp is adjustable for specific
positioning of the mixer shaft. Collapsible propellers allow for easy
installation. When bung adapter is removed, these agitators can be used
in open containers. |

are not required when this position

approximately equal to the diameter
of the tank, a single propeller can be
used as shown above C. |
Dual propellers are usually specified
when the liquid depth is 1.5 times the
diameter of the tank or more as
illustrated in D above. |

TYPICAL VISCOSITIES AT 70°F
|

The major consideration in mixer selection are time,
viscosity of the liquid to be mixed, and the size of the
batch. The table below may be used for basic selection
in over 90% of all mixing applications. Selections from
this chart will provide liquid turnover of approximately
1/2 to 1 times per minute. For rapid agitation, use the
next larger size mixer. |
