PailPRO Can Tumblers provide aggressive corner-over-corner mixing
action. Mix products right inside your sealed cans or pails with these
can rotators to reduce hazards and save clean-up. Use your pail and
can mixer to blend the contents of closed 1 to 5 gallon (4 to 20 liter)
pails or cans . |

PailPRO™ Can Tumblers rotate a closed 1 to 5 gallon
(4 to 20 liter) pail or can "corner over corner" to tho-
roughly mix contents. 5-Gallon Can Tumblers mix or
agitate small batches quickly and economically, re-
homogenize settled ingredients, blend liquid or dry
materials, or tumble pails of parts with media to deburr
or polish them. Can Tumblers provide exceptional savings
when materials to be agitated are already packed in cans. |

IMPORTANT: OSHA holds the employer responsible
for the suitability of design and application of tools and
machinery. Install all Rotators in accordance with re-
quirements for enclosure and safety interlock, etc. One
way to accomplish this is with a enclosure with safety
interlock, so the rotator automatically turns off when
enclosure door is opened. Power connections and motor
controls must also comply with applicable local codes. |

|
|
|
For OSHA compliance in the USA, see OSHA sub-
part O.1910.212(a)(4) "Barrels, containers, and
drums. Revolving drums, barrels, and containers shall
be guarded by an enclosure which is interlocked with
the drive mechanism, so that the barrel, drum, or container
cannot revolve unless the guard enclosure is in place."

The Can Tumblers rotate pails continuously at 23 RPM
(19 RPM on 50Hz models) in one direction. They do
NOT shake or oscillate cans. Can Tumblers accept steel
or plastic cans and pails up to 12.5" in diameter, and
4.5" to 16.5" tall. This includes typical 5-gallon (19
or 20 liter) cans. Pail capacity is 100 Lb. per can. |

|
|
Motors on the 5-Gallon Can Tumblers are 1/4 HP,
60Hz in choice of voltage, phase, TEFC or explosion-
proof (50Hz also available). Single-phase, 115V TEFC
version on model 1-305-1 or 2-305-1 includes a timer
you set at 1 to 60 minutes for automatic shut-off. Timer
is NOT available on other 5-Gallon pail mixer models. |

ONLY Single-phase 60Hz NON-explosion-proof can
tumblers (models 1-305-1 and 2-305-1) are equipped
with 60 minute timer, and plug into standard 115V wall
outlet. All other Morse can tumblers are shipped without
control, cord and plug, and must be installed by an
electrician according to local codes and customer's
preference. |

Explosion-Proof motors are rated for Class I Group D,
and Class II Groups F and G. |
|

| ENCLOSURE WITH SAFETY INTERLOCK FOR PAILPRO SERIES CAN TUMBLERS |
|

|
Enclosures for The End-Over-End Drum Rotators have a
safety interlock to automatically shut off the drum roller when
the gate is opened. Open the enclosure gate, secure your
upright drum on the base plate, then close the gate to allow
operation. An opening in the side of the enclosure provides
access to the RAISE and ROTATE controls on the drum
roller with the drum safely enclosed. |
|
