vertical pads are provided with covered vents to allow air to
escape during

Select
a dock seal projection by adding 4" to 6" to your
combined existing setback and dock bumper projection.
(See sketch). If there is no existing bumper or setback dimension,
select the 10" projection.

Select
square or beveled sidepads. (Beveled pads are recommended for
door openings wider than 7' 4".) |

| 3. |
Select
the desired model # from the price chart such as T-1DHD/P10/B12-8/STD
and add the actual dock door
opening size to complete the model #. Example: T-1DHD/P10/B12-8/STD/8'W
x 10'H. This model would specify
a T-1DHD Heavy Duty Drape Dock Seal with a 10" projection
with beveled side pads 12" wide at face and 8"
wide at back with standard vertical side pads for a door opening
of 8' W x 10' H. |

Truck
dock seals shall be Heavy Duty Drape Type as manufactured by
the Bondor Division of FS Industries,
W. Greenwich, RI, to fit a door opening of 8' wide x 12' high. |

|
Pads to have a
polyurethane foam core bonded to a 2" x 12" kiln
dried wood backboard to give a finished projection
of ______________. Side pads to be 10' - 0" long (standard).
Side pads to have 4" wide contrasting guide stripe
sewn on. Bottom of pads to have 3" upward taper to prevent
pinching between truck and bumpers. Bottom of pads
to be closed with covered side vents to allow air during compression
and to prevent condensation. Header to
consist of full width, weighted drape curtain with mounting
strip. Curtain to be supported between side pads by
galvanized pipe sewn into curtain. Curtain to be provided
with elastic shock cords to hold curtain in place.
